About Me
Jordan is a licensed Reiki Practitioner, studying under Reiki Master Tracey Rogers in Windsor, Ontario. Her first exposure to Reiki and other similar modalities came in early childhood, where her Grandmother would perform calming prayers over her when she was anxious.
As the owner of Pathways, Jordan uses her emotional intuition and knowledge gained from University courses in Psychology and Sociology to deliver ritualized advice-giving through the development of "Ethical Reiki".
Ethical Reiki does not claim to be a panacea for physical and emotional stresses, rather it is a technique that allows us to overcome maladaptive assumptions about ourselves, others, and existence that often leads to dysfunction or "blockage" in our ever-progressing lives.
Radical compassion is central to Ethical Reiki. Jordan struggled with mental health, self-harm, and suicide throughout her life; she eventually came to realize practitioners must assume a non-judgemental stance towards those they aid and towards themselves, if they are to blossom into better people.
Ethical Reiki adheres to the principle of "ephemeral divinity". Rather than looking for scientific proof of what is divine, if anything is at all, Jordan promotes an open mindset primed to seek out, create, and experience fulfilling events in everyday life. Be it morning walks, a trip to a quiet chapel, or pushing oneself to meet new people, what is divine in the mind is found everywhere.
